For people that mostly work from home in Wellington, we’ve got an idea that might help.

We’ve got facilities that are just right for your meeting needs. We have five separate meeting rooms and conference rooms which can accommodate between 6 and 100 people and can be rearranged to suit your needs. Our rooms are smart, modern, clean and comfortable.

Technology

We’ve got technology that just works. All our meeting rooms have rock-solid high-speed Wi-Fi and can be set up to do exactly what you want, from speeches and presentations, right through to online meetings that don’t keep breaking up or dropping out. Our Poneke Seminar Room is a dedicated Microsoft Teams Room that can host fifty people in one room.

Meeting catering

To make your meetings more special, we have catering options available. We can arrange anything from a cup of tea or coffee and a snack or a light morning tea, through to a healthy, wholesome, great tasting lunch. We have close relationships with some of the best catering companies and we keep it local with Emporio Coffee who provide our guests with great-tasting sustainably sourced, locally roasted coffee.

Convenience

Located on The Terrace in Wellington, a couple of minutes’ walk from Lambton Quay, and beside The Terrace off ramp, we’re easy to get to for most people in the region, and parking isn’t a problem. Being handy to some of the best cafes, restaurants, and shops in Wellington, means you don’t have to go straight back to work after your meeting finishes. We’re sure you can find something else you might want to do nearby for an hour or two.

What don’t we provide?

When you’ve been working from home on and off for years, this list can be quite long, but here are some of our favourites.

Pets

We don’t have any pets to jump up on your keyboard in the middle of a meeting or walk backwards and forwards between you and your camera.

Children

There generally aren’t any children running riot at Meetings on The Terrace, fighting, demanding food, or wanting to know where their school bags are.

Partners

We can guarantee at work meetings held in our meeting rooms, there won’t be someone’s husband or wife suddenly appearing in the background in only their underwear, or interrupting to ask where the car keys are, or wanting to talk about who is picking the kids up from school or taking them to sport.
